Head of Quality

Greensleeves Care | Not-for-Profit | Hybrid – Home \ London Head Office (with travel to our care homes)

If you're a quality leader who wants your work to mean something more, this is an opportunity to shape the future of care across a leading not-for-profit organisation and make a lasting impact on the lives of older people.

At Greensleeves Care, we don’t answer to shareholders. We reinvest in our homes, our people, and the quality of care we provide. That means every decision we make is focused on delivering outstanding care experiences and creating environments where residents and colleagues can thrive.

This is a rare opportunity to influence quality at a strategic level and help shape how care excellence is delivered across our organisation.

The role

We’re looking for an ambitious and influential Head of Quality to lead and evolve our quality agenda across Greensleeves Care.

You’ll set the direction for quality, clinical governance and compliance, building frameworks and systems that drive excellence while creating a culture of continuous improvement and organisational learning.

This is a highly visible leadership role with genuine influence. Working as part of the Senior Leadership Team, you’ll collaborate with colleagues across Operations, HR and our care homes, using insight, evidence and innovation to improve quality, strengthen governance and deliver better outcomes for residents.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and delivering an organisation-wide quality and compliance strategy
  • Leading and embedding clinical governance, quality assurance and continuous improvement frameworks
  • Using audits, reporting and insight to identify trends and drive improvements
  • Supporting homes to achieve and sustain high-quality, safe and compliant services
  • Leading organisational learning and promoting innovation across the business
  • Providing expert advice and guidance on quality, resident safety and regulatory matters
  • Strengthening governance, risk management and assurance systems
  • Helping ensure resident voice and feedback shape service improvement and future care design

What we're looking for

You’ll bring senior leadership experience within health or social care, along with strong expertise in quality, governance, clinical and regulatory frameworks. Just as important is how you approach the role.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Thinks strategically but stays connected to operational reality
  • Can influence and inspire people at every level of an organisation
  • Uses insight, data and evidence to drive meaningful change
  • Challenges thinking and brings fresh ideas and innovation
  • Balances attention to detail with a wider organisational perspective
  • Has the confidence and credibility to lead quality conversations at senior level
  • Is driven by continuous improvement and delivering exceptional outcomes
  • RGN \ Clinical expertise desired, but not essential

Why Greensleeves Care?

  • We’re one of the UK's leading not-for-profit care providers with a clear mission: to deliver the best possible care for older people.
  • Here, success isn’t measured simply by compliance ratings or reports. It’s about:
  • Supporting exceptional, person-centred care
  • Creating a culture of learning and continuous improvement
  • Ensuring residents' voices shape the way we work
  • Driving innovation and quality across our homes
  • Using insight and evidence to create meaningful change

What you can expect

  • A role with genuine purpose and organisation-wide influence
  • The opportunity to shape and lead the quality agenda
  • A collaborative and values-led culture
  • Flexible, hybrid working with a Head Office base and travel to homes
  • The chance to make a visible difference to residents, colleagues and the future of care

If you’re ready to shape quality and influence the future of care in an organisation where people come first, we’d love to hear from you.
